Nice composition, muted colors, and darkness-to-lightness contrast. Would make a great "stock" photo (I mean that as a compliment)..

I'd swear this was taken in the backyard of my former house (we just moved)..! My C. will be turning 2 in a couple of weeks. Her expression and the combination of colors are great here. The "4" on her tummy is sweet and funny..

I like their serious expressions and the way you've juxtaposed them. I suppose the light's a little strong on K's right side, but it's a pretty minor detriment, I think...

Wonderful colors, composition, and look...but are you prepping her to be an auto show/magazine model?!..

Classicly lovely portrait! I wouldn't crop it (I think the background adds a nice touch)..

Great smile and eyes... I'd saturate her skin color a bit; the saturated green all around her makes her look pale. Nice candid though.

I like the idea you're going for here. It really comes close to working. Something is missing, though, that would really nail the concept. Don't ask me what it is though..!

Very cute... Nice autumny colors. (I bet it appears yellower after you saved for the web..am I right? Getting good colors in an image saved for the web is such a pain in the butt!..;o )

Great comparison/contrast shot. The contrast would stand out even more if the contrast of the photo were higher (the tones seem a little flat on my monitor)..? Though perhaps you were going for a muted look? Hmmm...interesting issue (at least in my mind... Nice work...

Clearly a "decisive moment"! I like the DOF and composition that helps zero in on the "main attraction" if you will..

Nice contrast between youth and age. Reminds me of some of Sally Mann's portraits of her youngest daughter and their elder nanny (I think she was a nanny).

Nice composition, sense of depth, and slightly "surreal" quality (maybe due to color saturation and subtle spotlight lighting effect)..

Carlos, we were inside a large room with windows only on two sides, it was Fall (a dimming sun), we were in upstate NY (which tends to be cloudy), and I was trying to avoid using my flash for every shot. One of the main reasons I bought the 20D was to shoot at 1600 iso with practically no sensor noise and keep the shutter speed up in marginal lighting. Regards.
