You are right Andre, both can be easy mistaken. I guess the same team built both or it's a kind off the shelf design used by local construction business.

Hi Andrzej,
I've attached an image of the Combermere dock, so you can see why I thought it was the same place. They are identical builds. There are some detail differences, but not many.
This one was taken last Thursday.

Hi again Andrzej,
The dock I was talking about is on Hwy 62 right in the town of Combermere. Next time you drive through that way, check it out. It is at the public landing beside an old motel, on your left, driving north. Both of these docks must have been commisioned by the same company because they are identical. Even the way the rounded iron piping is attached to the ramp.
This is a great time of year for misty shots up there because of the cold nights. I like going out in the kayak before the mist has gone away.
I look forward to seeing more images from up there from you. I will post a few from the summer myself.

Andre,
the dock is in Barry's Bay, I went up quite early and drove there before sunrise - 15km from the cottage on opposite side of the lake. It was nice calm morning and great chance to use slow speed shutter to calm it down even more. Have plenty moody pictures from different spots in the area so you'll see more coming.

Hi Andrzej,
I can't believe it!! If I am not mistaken, this has got to be the dock at Combermere. Please tell me I'm right :)
We always stop here before making the trip back to Toronto. We usually get an ice cream cone from the Valley Market, nearby. This has been a tradition for us over the years.
My youngest son and I were up there last weekend. We stopped at the dock on the way home. :)
A beautiful capture of the spot! You have captured the mood perfectly.
