I met the girl in the "preformance @ spider moon" photo. Actually I've known her for a while. She told me she saw a piture of a guy who looked just like me on this website by the terrance guy she met in woo-sta. anyway your photography is almost as discriptive as your writing. Please do not take that as an insult. Prehaps I'll send an old photo of you your way. your wearing that goddamned sombrero. justin

Great portrait, Terry. I especially like the narrow dof which just draws your attention to Justin's eye. The shadow on the other side makes things even more cool.

Looks like you received a time machine for Christmas and went back to 1972 for this one - nice, natural portrait.

I don't know what the individual was thinking who rated this a "5", but then again we'll probably never know because this person seems bent on the useless exercise of rating pictures without comment or other guidance for the photographer.
I think this is a fantastic portrait. The choice of the extremely shallow DOF is very effective to emphasize the man's face. The lighting and tonality is wonderful. I'm most impressed with your ability to keep the grain under control despite the high-speed film. Excellent work.
