Thanks Phillip, I've spent probably 1/4 of all my time on the island photographing at this wildlife reserve.
From this satellite image you can see how special this preserve is, as it's surrounded by two pristine beaches, which are also protected. This is also the largest site for the endangered north eastern Harlequin ducks durning the winter, as they come down from further north.

Chris, this is just an outstanding image. I would definitely hang this on my wall. Could look at it for hours and just get lost in it. Perfect blend of colors or lack of colors, with the orange stripe just giving enough snap to really grab you. Wonderful image, post more would love to see it. The border works well too. Nice to separate it from the page.

Thanks, yes - this was a very quick moment in relation to the whole morning - probably only 1-2 minutes of light hitting the point like this...but the waves were crashing in all morning.

Chris, this is great. Like the title implies, the moisture from the air looks like smoke, and the horizon is sporting fire. Excellent capture!
