Excellent shot Ralf, great effect. You sure don't see many of these type of shots. Well done indeed.

Really neat image. I especially like the shadow of the Empire state building. I presume you shot it from there. Nice work.

The shadow of ESB in the botom really makes this shot!

I can imagine this shot covering a whole wall...at least 10' by 10'...it would keep me occupied for hours with all that detail to et through...well done

Hugo, you are so right. The main thing is the feel of this amazing city! There are a lot fantastic photographer and everybody is different. That's great! Many greetings...Ralf

Hi Ralf, Very much the same, the differences only in the details. You've pushed the contrasts a bit more, and apart from the different time of day ('bout 2 hrs difference, I'd say) a different composition. I struggled a bit with keeping the empire state itself out of the viewfinder, without including too much sky in the shot. My guess is, that you had basically the same issue, and that we're looking at a crop somewhere in the center in the photo.

Re your reply on my first comment, I sure do think it's a good thing that the other ones do have a bit more difference. Eventhough I think they're sharing the same feel of the City, it also shows a few angles I must've missed..:)

Cheers,

Hugo
