The lighting is perfect.
I maybe wouldve concentrated more on the hand and sand and got the leg?? out of the background.
But hey, what do I know??

this is a great shot Marc, the natural backlighting of the sand adds dimension. It's a great concept for a photograph...I might just try it this summer! Keep up the good work

Hey Marc,
Thanks for your comment on my Log shot. Great concept here. The long exposure and lighting here are fantastic. I think this would be stronger yet without the leg in the background and leave just the sand for the background. Putting this high in my list of things to try this summer. Great concept here.

Now THIS is good! Nice DOF bringing the viewers eye to the subject at hand if you pardon the pun. good exposure too with soft shadow but not without detail.

The backlight on the streaming sand is marvellous. The slower shutter speed adds a very nice effect to the sand as well. Beautifully composed photo.

Very cool Marc. Good light, good composition. Little soft, but probly from the scan. I like it! Definitely sums up the end of the day. :-)
