Very interesting portfolio you have, Sean! Quite a versatile mixture of techniques and subjects. The use of refraction in this one is excellent. Very well carried out, too. Maybe a more contrasting background, inserting some cooler tones would emphasise the dynamism and flow of the fluids, but that's only a minor thing. What I'm more surprised about is that this one had 127 views and only 5 (now 6) comments.... Weird.
Jim, thanks for your comment, you're right. In the photo, I had a friend dump this mapel syrup into a glass full of water. The lighting was very poor, I dont really have anything like a studio, I used a flashlight, once again, and I did some work in photoshop with getting rid of the reflections and such, and the backround was done in photoshop too. Thanks again.
Sean, great lighting and great concept, the only thing I ask is that could you please give some info on how you did the shot. It looks like your puring one liquid into another. Thanx, Jim Gamble
