Hi Daniele,
Congrats on the Staff's Choice Award for this beautiful image! I looks like there may be a few on the staff that have a soft spot for this type of image :) The grace of this bird is emphasised in this shot. I also am crazy about the tones, and feather detail.

This is really beautiful B&W, completely free of the strange plasticky effect I sometimes notice on B&W from digital cameras. And it is refreshing to see cropping ideally suited to the subject, especially when it has an unconventional vertical panorama aspect ratio. I'm adding it to my favourites!
