Dave, it is in BC. Considerable portions of the coastal forests are technically rain-forests - it rains so much (similar to the Washington/Oregon coast!) This site is about 60 miles inland but has a microclimate generated by a large waterfall. The mist adds to the moisture and vegetation growth. It is not old growth forest yet still impressive because the forest has had almost a century to regenerate. Eb

Wow, this scene is amazing in that it is in BC. I guess I've just never expected a rainforest up there. I know it is lush with forest but this is fantastic.
Nicely done!
Best wishes, Dave

All great shots of this area, Eb! Great details, and so different other parts of the country. Dave.

Thanks, Bob. This place is a 15 minute drive from home - yet I have not been there in a few years. Now that I have taken to photographing, I am revisiting old haunts with my photographic eye. I am looking for timely breaks in the rainy weather 'though.

Eb, these are all very fascinating to look at. Must have been really a treat to be there. Great work in capturing the essence of this incredible growth.
