I agree that this image could be seen as way over-saturated. It was my first (and only) image shot using the Cokin Blue/Yellow polarizer. Marc - I can't really say what the 'subject' is per se. We were crossing a stream on a hike and I liked the scene. I stuck the tripod in the water, got low, and blasted a couple of frames. That's it.

I do like the angle and composition you shot this from. The DOF is spot on, the light you shot in seems to be very clear, and perfect for Landscape photography, I would like to see this image without the saturation, you did such a great job in the first place. i don't think it needs to be enhanced, but, that's just IMO. And we all have diffrent tast.

Hi, Ian. I'm affraid here's another vote saying "over-saturated". As for the height of the camera, I think it's fine.
But here's another issue you may want to consider: what's really the subject of this picture...?

The composition works, although a lower point of view might have been good... but this is waaaay oversaturated. The intensity of the blue and other colours destroy this for me... sorry.
