Hi Kathy. Really like your portfolio. Seems we might be similar in what we see as a good photo (old building, bridges, etc.)
I like this shot a lot, especially the shadowed trees that the bridge emerges from. When the bridge comes out of the shadow, the sunlight emphasizes it.
Thanks for the comment on "Ranchin'". Seems I'm "challenged" lately about my frame color choices. Everybody is ragging on me, LOL. I have a whole house to paint and I've been procrastinating on color choices, obviously because I have no flare for it. :
Best, Dave

Kathie, your foreground framing worked very well and surprisingly sharp. The small sensor P&S cameras have tremendous depth of field. Nicely captured light! Eb

Beautiful patterns and colours of trees. I believe the angle at which you chose to shoot the bridge is just putting more accent on the trees. The warm light is weaving laces among the trees. Very warm atmosphere! Gabriela

No, Kelly, this is a new bridge to both of us. There is something about railroad bridges that I find really interesting. I'd like to get this one from a different angle and maybe during a different season. Another thing to add to the list! Thanks for looking! Kathy

A lovely scene Kathy. Nice perspective and excellent composition. I like how the bridge comes out of the bushes to take us to the other side of the river. Nice keeping some of the thorny bushes in the foreground. Makes for a nice lead in. Very nice Kathy.

Oh yeah, I like this one a lot! I like the little blackberry (ugh) bushes in the foreground and the gentle curve of the river. Very good perspective on the bridge as well. I also like how you can see the bridge through the trees on the left. You're right, that view will change this summer, huh? Really nice job Sissy, love it!
