About photo taken Feb 2006 at Philadelphia's Museum of Art under existing artificial light of Claude Monet's "Morning at Antibes", what's incredible is that after 118 years, you can walk up to within a foot of this materpiece, and the paint still glistens as if it were applied last night.......

Thanks Craig, I do appreciate your visit! I agree with you on this, it's one of my better interpretations. I like it too.

J, I have viewed all of your photos on-line and while there are many that I like (hummingbird, desert scenes, etc) for some reason on this morning I love the simplicity and the symmetry of this shot. It would have be one that if I faced with the situation would have taken with great pleasure as well. Good work.

Thank you Ashley! Great idea, I'll also see if they can do something about that annoying doorway on the right, that frames the other side.......they don't seem to have much of a sense of humor there in the "City of Brotherly Love", but I'll try again

I see what you mean about cropping the frame on the left out, and I tend to agree with you. Maybe if you talk to the museum they would spred the artwork out for you, alleveating this problem.

The way that the person on the left is leaning to the right adds a nice tone to the photograph.

Point well taken Jonathan, thank you. An option which I did in fact consider, but due to the card placement from the adjoining piece, the balance was thrown off (to my liking) by eliminating the frame.....sorry

Nice capture, says a lot about people taking time to enjoy artwork. i think it would work a bit better if you cropped the portion of the frame from the other painting out however
