Thank you very much, Dubravko. Actually the kind of solitude that one has during deep thoughts - thoughs as journeys in the inner world.
Keep well,
Nick

Thank you very much Marc! Yes, the bits are distracting, so I try to get rid of such things from now on. So I guess I have to get seriously busy learning photoshop!
Thanky again, best wishes, Nick

Nice shot, but I think erasing the little bits of black on the right of the image and above the dock would improve it a bit. They distract me a little.
Cheers, Marc

Hi Hugo, and thank you very much for the kind critiques. I feel very happy knowing that such water pictures, that are not always bright blue, still can be interesting.
Indeed it is a bit overexposed in my intention to reproduce that kind of feeling that the sea surface causes to one's eyes when the bright sun lets the water look like some kind of colored moving mirror. The hue was the way it looks on the photo.
I tried to make it to a mental point of a journey start - that can't be located very sharpy. Something like our journey through life. It surely began, but when and where, we can't tell exactly.
Thanks again, and best wishes,
Nick

Hi Nick, Good composition and I like the simplicity of this scene. The tones in this image seem slightly off, though. A bit flat, and it even seems a bit overexposed on the jetty surface. In a way, that adds to the lush atmosphere of the scene, but I do feel it's more of an issue with the scan than anything else. The blueish haze in the dark areas also subscribe to that feeling.
Cheers,
Hugo
