I believe it was another Guernsey coastal shot with a rising (or setting?) sun just above the horizon. Very strong, perhaps super-saturated colours, which stimulated the crit that made it to the front page, I believe. Something like "Are those colours for real?" It was rather similar to others you have uploaded but squarer, I think. You will understand that I only saw it as a thumbnail on the front page, so it's hard to be more specific. It is not a good idea to delete photos. Most of the awards that will get you on the front page are made days and sometimes weeks after the upload. And there is certainly no feeling that portfolios need to be kept small. I used to feel guilty about having 700 up, and was told in no uncertain terms "All welcome, the more the merrier." Now there are over 800 in mine! Of course, casting the net so wide does mean that quality is more variable...

Welcome to Usefilm, Mike. This is a good start. I hail from the UK (Bristol) and used to holiday most years on Guernsey, so I know this coast fairly well. I like the subtle colours you have captured in the sea, and although I'm not normally too keen on time exposures of waves, because they cease to look anything like the sea, I must admit it creates a very pleasant effect here. I see one of your pictures was selected for featuring on the front page, but you had already removed it by the time I tried to look at it. A shame, really.

Looks good overall. I think the highlights are alittle blown, but not enough to really detract.
You could have used a polarizer to knock down the exposure by 2 stops, but that may have been problematic when used together w/ the grad ND filter.
