Beautiful, well lit spring-photo, dear Melody. Here it's the blooming of the almond tree that symbolizes spring.
There were some things about Petra you might know or might not know I wanted to add. Up to a short time before we had peace with Jordan, quite a few young Israeli's lost their lives. Having heard the legend of the "Red Rock" they tried to reach it & were killed on the way. There was even a song about it, prohibited from being broadcast because it was thought that it might tempt young people to go there & die. Very few made it back & forth alive, of course on foot. So Petra had a special meaning for us. I, being a tiny bit adventurous but not suicidal, had to wait until it was safe to go.
