sorry for being so long Alice... quite busy. Suggest you to select the grey part and apply a colored filer?, Maybe it should help a bit, but if it's grey on the original one, it should be more difficult than I first think (thought that you selected an overexposed part and make it darker). Hope you will have success with my suggestion.

Not sure how I can eliminate the grey, as these were rain clouds down low. I didn't edit the photo at all except for light sharpening and a very small amount of cropping.
But otherwise, the colours are pretty true to what I actually saw, the blue looks just the same - it was an amazing palette of colours, not something I've seen often.
But going back to your comment on there being too much grey, would you suggest cropping a bit more off the left-hand side? Or perhaps made the framing of the brighter section tighter?
