Joel:

I think the grain is done for style points if ya know what I mean. Like the toning as well.

Nice emotive portrait. I like the greenish cast. When I looked the photo from a bit of the distance though, somehow I think his eye is too centred...although I don't know what a 'better' way would be, because I guess cropping his forehead off wouldn't be good.
Anyhow, very Kostas-like mood. I like his expression.
regards!
Marija

Oi Kostas tudo bem? Obrigado pelos comentários sobre minha foto noturna. Vou consederar seus comentários com toda certeza. Realmente fotografar a noite é bem legal. Consumiu mesmo toda a bateria, mas isso é assim mesmo. E para ajudar havia a luz do luar, pos isso a árvore ficou iluminada. Quando a foto maior, já tive imagens roubads na internet, então é por precaução! Abraços

Kostas,

A crisply intense image! I like the color tone that add a haunting statue quality to the portrait. The crop is very well played...pulling it just past the ball of the nose, broke the symmetry of the face, and keeps the weight in the center of the image.

The DOF is brilliant. Leaving just enough to imagine.

That Fuji worked out great for ya! ISO400? The grain pattern looks doubled up..possibly from a default sharpen in PS?

great job, and very well done!

cheers,
-Joel

Sharp and crisp, I like the contrast. I think the cropped face creates an incomfort, I wonder if that's what you were looking for in that picture.
