It's fireworks that were part of the air show. I was just lucky to catch it in the shot. As for fixing it in photoshop, I wouldn't know how to do that.
Humidity? What's that? I've only recently come to know what the word means. :) In five days we've gotten over 5" of rain - more than HALF of our yearly amount! We got 2" in a few hours in that five days, too. Crazy.

This shot isn't that bad. It really isn't. If you were to adjust the curves in PhotoShop it would look even better.
Very nice capture, the moody sky is well controlled and the scene is perfect, I like the nice banking plane captured at just the right moment, excellent..
