I've used blue pasteboard as backround and i used Red lightball Then i got that effect,there is no PS work in it.

What gives the misty character to the pink color?
I have to agree with Gerhard. I think if this shot possessed tighter detailing it could be more powerful.
Did this one get worked in PS?

While I agree on the simplicity part (check my portfolio.. there's a lot of simplicity there!) I think this is different from obvious.
Even with a simple object there should be some feel of dynamics or tension in the image. Which is what I feel I miss in this photo.

rather then complex compositions i usually rather simplest catches as i think it is more sincere; for example i prefer nature to designed environment. but surely like to play with words ,i appreciate that you've noticed the "steel life" as i call my portfolio of steel balls.Thanks a lot.

The image could use a little more composition. The colors are nice, but it's rather bull eye..
Your "about" on the other hand fills me with envy..;)
