About	This one surprised me. I originally took this with the clouds the main subject instead of the winding trail. (There are many trails off of the main trail, lol it's confusing, I know) I could post the other one for comparison but I knew this one was by far the better photo just because of how I framed the shot. I think I've gotten better in not using the typical composition for shots and trying new things like positioning things on the far left/right rather than in the middle.

Hi Carlen,

This is a beauty!

The curve is absolutely wonderful - Leading our eyes through the picture.

It could need a little more contrast, but I think it's a matter of taste.

Absolutely right Carlen . . . I like the composition here too and the sky helps. Remember too, to try to keep the horizon line (separation between land and sky) off center too . . . It's off-center here but a little close for my taste (personal opinion at best)....
I think this is a great shot all in all and, while it could stand by itself . . . I have to wonder what impact a solitary person or interest point would have added -- Likely it would have been strong.
