Fuji Sensia is a color slide film. I have more recently changed to Fujichrome Velvia 100, which is also color slide film.

This is a stunning portrait my dear Shirley and you have captured an amazing look of great intensity and power in John's face. The details are awesome, the dof is absolutely superb and the textures of the skin are just brilliantly recorded. I sense that were you to take a happy faced John he would have the most amazing smile radiating from his face.
Now, remind me.....Fuji Sensia RA.....is it monochromatic, colour negative or positive, I just do not know my emulsions since I went digital. Hi Shirley, congrats on the EC, it's a great shot indeed. I notice a repeated pattern of triangle shapes in the lower half and then a pattern of circles/ovals in and around the face & hoods. A nice golden ratio seen in the continuous outline of the hoods & face. His face is really framed nicely by the outer hood...it just floats right out at you. Best regards, Kes.

Briliant composition! The peircing power of his eyes grip this image together so amazingly well.
The contrast is wonderful, and so well balanced in the layers of his hood. The low black values are a bit lost in the deep shadows, but overall, a very good exposure! ...unlike your other images, and very nice! The sharpness is a bit too much for my liking, but an outstanding image!
