I know this one was a little disturbing, but it was also a "real" photo. He is pretty beat up, but my family is trying to help him out a little -- offering him some food and some pets if anyone dares to get close. I guess I just liked the reality of this shot -- it wasn't perfect, it wasn't a polished little kitty -- it was real. Thanks for the comments everyone!

I love cat pics, but sad ones can be hard to comment on and this falls close to that...he looks like he has had a hard time...your dof is good with the focus on the face, colors, composition, and exposure are all good...might consider a tighter crop from both sides drawing the attention to the cat and away from the white on the right
