Wow John . . . That's a great idea! I think it'd push the ol' creativity envelope a tad! ...yes, I noted the f3f3f3 BG right off . . . and knew you had something special with the image. I'll look for the next in the series!

Hi Doyle!

Many thanks for your constructive ideas. I'll leave your more philosophical questions unanswered... But the tilt is another matter. The beach slope really is there, and adjusting the perspective of the tower only emphasises this. This could be easily corrected (as on the previous image), but my own concern is with the beach itself. As you may guess from the background colour, this was prepared specially for UF, and I found it hard to visualise how it would look before I uploaded it. Having now seen it, I think I would prefer it with less beach, fading at either side so that it blended into the UF background better.

John

I like this John . . . literally a B&W! Good silhouettes and intriguingly composed . . . This has little information as a basic B&W but manages to tell a great deal and, more importantly, to get the mind to asking questions too . . . like is the choppy surface area to the right water . . . ? Are they young AND old, or just young . . . and does it matter? Very good stuff and a unique work. I am distracted only by the perceived tilt on the horizon line which seems to be there and may have even been there in real life. Perhaps just the perspective but the angular tilt of the tower still seems a tad bit distracting. Other than that . . . I like it as it stands. A slight tilt seems to make the issue less distracting to me . . . something to consider anyway! ;)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
