This photo truly represents 'peace and tranquility' to me because of it's location. This image was captured about 8:30 in the am, while most people here are driving in rush hour traffic to try to get to work on time.
As you arrive at the park this is near, the sound of that rush hour traffic is loud and incessant. As you walk across the park, the sound of the traffic quiets, but is still audible. As you pass through the wall of trees pictured here reflecting in the water and come upon this scene the hum of the traffic is gone and all that can be heard is the nature around you.
To me, this place exemplafies 'peace and tranquility' because it is so close, yet so far, from 'rush hour.'
