I greatly thank everybody for all the comments, critiques and compliment on this picture.
Sometimes I just follow my instinct, other times I need to read books and y'all comments before putting my camera to work....
This is still a new thing for me,...and I am always eager to explore.

Well Meigy you have really put together one professional looking image here! BRAVO!! Very much deservant of the project of the month award.
I'll go even farther and say this is the best present award over all the others! This just blows my ming and is so totally beautifully presented. I love the frame and the soft feel to it! Sooooo Awsome indeed my friend!
Love the shadow due to the excellent lighting!!
I'll have to give you a 7+ as they do not allow a higher rating. But I'll just tell you here....
100+ is not to high.

Wow, thats a pretty nice photograph =) I love when focus if not in the centre of the image because it looks so much better. This image is great to the eye, The colours are soft and it definitely evokes a feeling of peace withing, as the title suggests. The shadow looks good where it is. I also like how the border does not surround the image, rather it gets involved with the image. I might try to use that with a few of my images in the future. Nice work

Thank you for the kind comment.
Yes, I did it on Photoshop CS.
For this particular picture, I create a new layer, ctrl-A on the new layer, go to edit, click on 'stroke', put the number for your preference pixel of the stroke, then ctrl-D, ctrl T (transform), I put 80 and 80 for Height and wide respectively. Then click enter.
Hope this helps...

I have jujst been looking at Phillip's which is featured right below yours on the Home page today. It is interesting going from there to here as the technique seems to be similar. Your sublte, faded image is quite love;y. Your choice of framing really in effective in presenting this dhot. Congratulations on BIP.

White-on-white is so difficult to execute, but you've managed to do it beautifully here. Great shadows and detail on the center of the flower.
