About I would like as much help with this photo as possible, i would like to re-shoot this to try and make my subjects silhouette sharper and the light at the end of the tunnel brighter. Im sorry to say i dont remember what settings i used to take these, it was probably just an automatic setting. so if anyone could help me with the type of settings, or tips on how i can achieve my desired result i would be most greatful.

Ashley,

Thanks for the tip, the tunnel i used was indeed quite short. I appreciate the help.

Thanks, Megan.

I would not try to make the light brighter, but the tunnel darker. There seems to be light comming into the tunnel behind you. Perhaps the tunnel is pretty short. I think that if you were able to block that light, you would have your desired effect.

Here is a photo that I took, http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=981109

This tunnel was open at on end only, since there was no light hitting anything from my angle, everything was a silhouette.

I hope that you find this helpful.

Ashley

Hi Megan...

This may help... As you said you can't remember what settings you used, a small suggestion, in camera exposure reference data, or a notebook... Especially handy for those shots you specifically set...

How far into the tunnel were you???... Did you have your flash turned on/off??? especially if you want silhouette... Take a series of the same shot, different settings etc, could be very helpfull with layers... time of day, weather conditions all make a difference...

Hope this is of some help... There are many more photographers out there that may have more clues for you...:)

Have fun, experiment and always enjoy...

Love Onie.. X
