My Pleasure Robert, Now I can still send people over to your portfolio to see some real IR, I do think many of your IR shots are soo wonderful as well as some outstanding bird shots as well -hint hint- I think you may be forgeting how hard it is and how few can do it, I was seeing many of your new photos in the top 90 percent and with each passing shot a sense of pride that I had a little somthing to do with that.
And dont even think about leaving UF :) Im keeping my eye on you! Take care.

Thanks for your kind comment Marcus,nothing happened.Just felt like deleting all except this one which is for Mary Slade.Didn`t felt right deleting it.Time to reflect on what I want to do
with my photography but it will be towards combining IR & BIRDS.Still plans on posting here
and maybe reposting some of the better images that were deleted.Thanks for wonderful support I

Hi Robbie, this is another amazing IR, I love these shots and the almost unreal beauty. what happened to your beautiful portfolio? I would always send my friends intrested in IR to see your outstanding work?

Thanks Robert for your response and advice...
I have seen Paul Brumit's photographies in UF, He has the same camera, the canon XT / 350D. Also I have seen that uses the same lens Canon EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6..
I will try in b&w and in the values that you recommend to me...
Do you recommend to me the Canon EF 20 mm f/2.8?

Hi Sergio,thanks for the comment.
Re the white point in your IR image,it`s a 'hotspot',not all Canon lenses are IR compatable.Try shooting wide open and then at f8-11 and look if the hotspot is just as strong,most likely it will be very weak wide open.I do get the same problem with the Dimage7
in color mode but in b&w it`s very weak.
These Canon lenses give hotspot in IR.
Gives hot spot:
Canon EF 20 mm f/2.8
Canon EF 24 mm f/2.8
Canon EF 50 mm f/1.4
Canon EF 50 mm f/2.5 macro
Canon EF 85 mm f/1.8
Gives hot spot:
Canon EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 L
Canon EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6
Canon EF 24-85 mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon EF 28-70 mm f/2.8 L
Canon EF 35-80 f/4.0-5.6
Canon EF 70-200 mm f/2.8 L IS
Hope that helps,if buying a lens try it first.

Wonderful work!
It does a days ago I bought a Hoya RM72 Infrared Filter, to use with my canon 350D. I have done few shots with the IR filter...and the problem is that in the center of the photography goes out a small white point, but really I not know to that owes ... you might help me to know porqué this appears .... I have thought that he can be the "eyepiece" but I have covered with the protector in neck trap too... :(
