Thanks Jennifer . . . it IS a tad bit soft . . . but I was thinking it would add to the image . . . perhaps I should post a version that is tack-sharp and see if the soft and delicate effect is diminished any. Appreciate the comment though!

Very nice Doyle, beautiful light and shadows, very good exposure with nice details in the reds and textures. I like the fill-frame crop, the feminine curves of the petals, and the water droplets..you did indeed capture the delicacy and the beauty of this wonderful rose, well done...:)Lin

Well see now Doyle, I dunno...genius-level skills? All this is is a very delicate, beautifully composed, well lit, exceptionally detailed image of John, a rose. The beads of water and DoF are quite brilliant also.....but I don't know why you are boasting...this is kind of standard fodder for you isn't it? kekekekeke;)
