Thanks James for your comments....yes I did pan as well as use a slower shutter speed...also used a polorizing filter to help saturate color....regards, Todd.

Did you make use of camera motion? Looks like yes. I usually pull my exposure by two full stops when I shoot like this to help ensure that I get a dark and well saturated image. I think darker would have helped this one a little. Everything else about it very good to my eyes. I especially like the juxtaposition of the thin brushstrokes (green) and the broader splashes of smooth color (the leaves I guess).
