Sometimes I find intriguing images that work well as a background anchor for a collage. For this shot, I was moving from the far end of the dugout to Home Plate. Just as I passed, the team huddled for their Last-up’s cheer. I immediately sensed the opportunity to do something artsy, so I opened to f/2.8 and focused on the chain link of the dugout, letting the team fade to a fuzzy huddle of white jerseys. The resulting image provided just the sense of place I was hoping for to convey the mood and environment of this night game.
what a brilliant way to show your photos, I know lots of people that shoot baseball and sellthe pics after the game, and this way of showing them off is just brilliant! I wont tell my friends though, let them figure it out :)
