I can only judge that there were thousands of leaves
laying out there. Also some the leaves were still on the trees, however I went to the same place 2 days later just about all the leaves were off the trees.

I like the composition - The carpet of leaves is great with the colors. Maybe the image needs a bit more saturation to give it life and make it stand out. Autumn is really colorful in your country.
