WOW!!! I want some!!! Are they real? cool shot, especialy about the bright white background...looks like these was on a white glass table with light at the back, the best presentation for crystalic objects, cool!

Outstanding idea Michele!
Something for you to consider. You have a good idea . . . good color . . . what if (now follow me here) . . . what if you set them on a glass tabletop or clear plastic square or something like that . . . placed a light BELOW them . . . and shoot them at a low angle with no flash . . . maybe even a black cloth backdrop so nothing shows but them??? Some ideas for you to play around with!! Maybe a mirror? Sidelight by flashlight? IMO - this is a bit too bright but has great potential and looks good anyway! You get a big Ol 10 for creativity on this!! :)

Hey Jessie these would make super cool ice cubes !!! ha! The lighting was pretty much dark and I used a flash because I was on top of them so I lost sparlke but I decided to make them abstract anyhow ... So happy You like it and wish you could make ice cubes...Lillie would LOVE it too !!

michele - such fun! wouldn't it be cool if they were ice cubes?? that would make ice water even more fun to drink. i love the colors - great shot! how did you set up the lighting?
