Nice expression, good use of DOF, but the background is uninteresting and there is a lot of it in your photo. :) the emotional appeal is excellent.

Hello Renee;
I believe you have taken a great quality shot, but the composition could become much better.
When you centralized the land to the picture, our focus brings us to the horizon as well. It is very brave to try to put %70 of the picture in blur, but while the main subject is not a small thing ...
I would had this one, on a different angle first at all. If I'm forced to this angle, then I would include as much as her hair is included in the composition, as much as %20 to down (I wouldn't worry that the land is not centralized, the main subject is the old lady).
This is all I can recommend according to the composition, except that as I said I believe it's great quality shot.
