About This was my first sighting of a Cattle Egret. A very interesting little guy to watch out in the open field. Here he was looking at me with one eye and a tilted neck! :0) These birds are uncommon to see here. Photographed on October 7 2006. ISO 100.

Excellent capture Pierre.
Superb contrast and awesome details in those difficult whites. Nicely framed too.
I whish I can get close to one of these guys. They are very common in my country, but I haven't seeing one yet.

Nice shot of the Cattle Egret Pierre, I'll probably bump into you one of these days, I'm from the area too. This was a rare shot, and it came out quite nice. I like the bokeh, the lens looks real sharp. Well done.

Superbe capture ! Vous étiez couché dans l'herbe ? La profondeur de champ est très faible, ce qui donne un bokeh exceptionnel sur le fond - très lisse, très beau. En même temps, on ne manque rien des détails de l'oiseau. Bon, il y en a qui diront que le sujet est centré... mais franchement, c'est un détail probablement non pertinent pour une photo d'un sujet rare, et si bien illustré. Ah, j'oubliais, la lumière aussi est parfaite. Je donne le max des points.
