Yeah I know what you mean about the shadow....
I thought that very thing when I first looked at you photo Kimberly but then I thought well from what I have learned so far in my photography course is that the eye naturally falls where the shadow and light meets and there it is on one of your subjects face! hehe
Again a great photo and a great view......
