Thank you Bill!
It is a small picture frame with the original picture in it... no one I know... :) :) :) The carnation gives an indication as to its size.
I am so pleased you like it and appreciate your time for commenting on so many of my images!
Warm Wishes, Aniko :)

Hi Steve!
And thank you...
Actually I do understand what you're saying, but if you read back, the flower "began to topple" during shutter trip... lol...thus not sharp! However, I liked the lighting and was my intention. I didn't want to refect light onto the darker side. When I viewed the image, I didn't mind the "blur" of the flower. To me the symbology was like a "memory" and a far away Love... By no means a "technically correct" image, but it pleases me to some extent :)
I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful comments! And I know that all view images subjectively...
Thanks again! Best Wishes, Aniko :)

This is a lovely composition, Aniko. The color range is really nice, as is the choice of materials. There are two things that do bother me. The blurriness of the flower bothers me. My preference would be to have the entire tableau sharp as a tack. Also, the left side of the fabric is significantly darker than the right. Perhaps you might try reshooting the scene with a white sheet of paper or some such off to the left to reflect a tad more light onto the left side. I certainly do think getting such a nice arrangement right is well worth the effort. (Unless, of course, my view of "right" is not yours.) Anyway, I really do like the basic shot. Steve

I am about to post from the same shoot something else... and like I said, I will do a "nifty" image for you of the "non watered down" lady (lol) AS PROMISED! (Because I have that kinda whacky loyalty... lol...) Ummm... had a thought... Should I say... watered and then dried out? Hmmmm... my mind runs overtime with trivia! hehehe... :)

Thank you Onie! You're very sweet to me!
It is actually a small frame, not a brooch, but it does look like an old brooch, doesn't it? It is really a fairly new imitation antique look frame, and the picture of the lady within was there, as pictures often are when frames are being sold.
I'm very happy you like this :)
Hugs to you, Ani :)

Beautiful old brooch Ani...:))) The water has created shadows like an old world map behind/over the lady... Maybe where ever in the world, I will be thinking of you... :)))
Love how you have placed the carnation on the side she is looking... Gives a nice balance...:)))
Lovely idea Ani...:)

Greetings my Dear Biljana!
Thank you so much. :)
My Mother has not seen this image yet, but I am sure she would never mind me being "creative" with any gift she gives me. She is a Wonderful Personand has always been a source of both Inspiration and Encouragement for me. (Yes, she often says I am totally eccentric, but she always smiles when she says that and kisses me...) :) :) :)
I will visit with you again soon, my friend, but there are many outside of cyber space happenings where I am needed, so for now I say to you: Fare Thee Well, Many Thanks, and Warm Hugs~ Aniko:)

Hello my Dear Friend Shirley!!!
I am pleased to say the water has now "gone" (to my amazement!!! I am sure my Mother will be pleased I didn't ruin the frame... lol...) And I am thinking I will again shoot this frame and the lady within... a different "look"... I just HAD to do something "different" as I was going nuts being so limited and not "creating". Need to borrow Colin's camera again... hehehe...
Thank you my friend... thank you for dropping by and commenting. You know I appreciate it so much.
Hugs~ Aniko :)
