Thanks james, yep, 50 mm is fixed/no zoom, and I am very excited about it.....I love the ability to shoot in available light much easier now, with a greater DOF and with my film background, as in movies & stills, I love the look of a real life situation, nice & close and in there, just like in the movies. As Hitchcock said, cinema is 'real life with the drama taken out'! Take care with your travels, have fun out there, Mon

Oh.. This is better to see him smiling ;). What did you do for such sad moment, hmm? ! I think that this shot would be better if all the face was in focus. In fact the mouth is a little bit blurry by comparison to the arm in the foreground. This disturbs a little bit my eye.. Anyway this is a nice work Monica. Hope taht now He smiles ;).

Excellent image - very direct composition sits very squarely. You must be a very mean artist! Does the 50mm lense mean you don't have any zoom?

Nicely done, I too enjoy the intimate portraits, you have managed to really capture raw emotions...........though I suspect he won't appreciate it for some years :)
