Pestana Sintra Golf Resort & Spa Hotel is the place we´re going to stay. There should be a children´s club although I must admit that I won´t let Anna Sophie out of my sight after what happened to the other little girl her age in Portugal. I know it can happen everywhere, but what a terrible situation. It can´t get much worse.

I´m so sorry that it´s so difficult for you and Tanya to get together. Loved ones shouldn´t be seperated.
Wonderful that the cliffs are close to Cascais! I suppose renting a car is a good idea to get there?
I look forward seing a small part of Portugal. Maybe even say hello to you?:-)
Anyway don´t worry about not being online- you have work to do both at your job and probably also in your new home.

Hello dear Annmette, sorry for my delay but i have been very away of photographic hobbies, the other week i made some photos that i still want to post, but that still have to wait for better days and nights, til at least my net at work be more fast a bit :)
I think i know of what you refer by that cliffs, well we have many cliffs all along the coast, but we have ones high, in the most occidental part of Europe, here close to Lisbon, its the Roca Cape .
Its more or less near Cascais too :)
Hey i am very curious to know more about your experience? Did you email me already? Guess i still have to find out, by checking the email ! :)
Now, i am going to try to see what have yoou done photographically whit your brand new camera :)
I like this pic very much, by the way :)
Unfortunatelly about the visa, nothing is ready or close to be ready :(

Hi Annemette, I know what you mean. I did try the levelling bars in Photoshop on this. It seemed to improve a little but nothing worth changing really. Her hair would also lose detail if you add contrast to the whole image. I'm sure there are many talented Photoshopers out there that can take an image like this and apply all sorts of individual changes to small isolated sections. It can be done, but you have to have a lot of patience :)

Ah, I´ve been thinking about you! So good to hear from you. How did it go with the visa from Russia? Were you able to meet?
Cascais- do you know that place in Portugal? We´re planning to go there for a week this summer with Anna Sophie. Where can I find the huge magnificent cliffs in the water just out the coast? Is that in the southern part of Portugal?
I had a very weird experience concerning Portugal that I still want to tell you about- I´ll mail to you when I get it sorted in my head. A regression.

Thank you for your thorough comment- such a joy receiving your thoughts and also advice. I did try to add some more contrast, but the seeds seemed to vanish in the air which is why I gave it up. I don´t know if it can be done in a refined way that doesn´t almost remove them.

A very beautiful composition Annemette! The action (blowing of the seeds) and the placement of the little girl in relation to the fence is very nicely planned.
Maybe just a very slight contrast enhancement might be advised, to bring out just a touch more differnece between the lighter and darker tones. However this is only my assessment, and a very subjective thing. Many people would leave it exactly as is, and that's perfectly fine too.
