About music by pink floyd.
this is about the second variation of about 30
Have since abandoned trying to create a japanese screen look for one more culturally approprite, embossed wall paper!

here is yatukas take on the senryu.
"...famous senryu of Japan in 15 Century, nice feeling.three famous senryuu(a humorous and ironical haiku) of three big general, you presented one of the last one.btw.the frst is if the cokoo does not sing--will kill it,the second one is ---does not sing I will sure let her sing.thanks nice one."
three haiku(senru) you presented were made in Edo era--about 1700 by the common people and 90% of them are right about their character and the way of goverment. Thanks Ian.

Usefilm? Use print is still pretty rare!
It's basicly exploring artifacts of jpeg vision at the moment.

But I see you have recently done some shots of ancient landscapes in the states. That's mystic space surrounding Las Vegas if ever I saw it!

Night out there would be intriguing, too, by the way.
Thanks for your thoughts mate!

yeah thanks John. Absolutely the product of blundering stumbling blind through printing concepts. I am left wanting more too, so continuing to try see.
I agree about the unfeathered ones.
I've seen none of it in print yet. I met an arts master student who without seeing these doesn't imagine they are worthy of print because of their 8 bit depth.
So I'm working on stuff that may only provide a paper like back texture to it but keep finding other things on the way.

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Okay Ian, I have gone back over this entire series of yours. In my eyes, this one is the best. I'm not a fan of color noise or colour noise for that matter. I appreciate what you seem to be trying to do but despite the lack of bejeweling, this is my favorite. What I enjoyed the least was the broad swaths of color noise in the background. I did like it when limited to the bird alone. i also liked the range of forms you tried even if the results left me wanting something else. You continue to inspire me. Perhaps I should move to a home with softer light and try more of the mystic and let myself free. Cheers fella. John B

Oh, Rog, gotta minute? Interesting conversation with an arts student on the weekend... has me doubting the value of printing this from jpeg. Not sure it will matter with this scratchy dense kind of thing but whaddaya reckon bout bit rates and print? Always tiff? NEVER jpeg. I doubt the answers never.
I guess I'm going to carry on but hmmmm, has me wondring for the future.
