I like this as it brings various elements of you style purposely together. Your dark palate and use of found payment/lines combine for a strong composition. I especially like the path leading in or out in the upper left, There is separation as well with the figure self involved in the far middle distance. The tree seems mayes to be a sentinel or a barrier, or a marker of time....?

Wondeful stuff, like the way the white flowers (?) echo the white hat of the reader.

Wonderful mood.. lovely composition with the tree at a vertical third and the path crossing at a horizontal.. the addition of the lone figure adds just the perfect touch to this.
7/7 !!!
cheers ! Avi

So you were peeping in between the bushes:-) I thought that maybe it was your friend Paddy although this man looks quite sharply dressed in comparison to what u told me about Paddy:-)

A peek back in the past almost, full of sweet melancholy. Good depth. I also enjoy how the hat, book and small flowers peep up brightly in the image. Could this be your good friend? Hope you´re doing well, Crow.
