This was a very interesting shot that initially happened by accident. My sister and I were near a lake so I decided to take pictures of her as she did weird poses. We were going for a out of norm "artsy" look. I placed my camera on a tripod that was completely folded. I held the tip of the tripod in my hand and set the camera to 2 second timer. I focused on my sister and then lifted the camera (by holding the tripod) way above my head. Little did I know, there were thousands of little flies flying in huge spheres right above our heads. The flash used illuminated the flies and gave this effect. I thought it was a pretty cool discovery and decided to share. Hope you like it.
