This is OK but it has too much white, the tones should be a little more contrasty as the original shows that there is no real whites.
good try anyway.

Hi Clive, I couldn't resist in showing you a veriosn of your colour version that i converted to B&W using a gradient map in Photoshop.

Hi Clive, I like the colored one better. Noramlly I would say B&W is better, but in this case I prefer the color version.
Never mind I hope.
