About	I managed to catch this Bald Eagle poking his head out of his nest while hiding from the brutally hot sun . Shot hand held . I am not totally happy with the shadow, but , sometimes you get what you can I guess .

IMHO. I believe this is a great shot. Just because you didn't have optimum lighting for this guy doesn't mean you didn't capture a great look at a great bird. Nice handling of the "whites", without blowing them out. The intensity in his eye is wonderful... Nice Grab Rob!
