Great photo, John, I see all the elements feet’s perfectly for the title, I can say this little place couldn't pass in any other way...you never know :) over all your work it’s truly effective and I like it. In a good way It has your little cynical humorous character. Excellent :):):) Cheers, Harry

thanks a lot dear Olga for your kind comment! Yes, I'll try to let the greens at the top of the image using masks as I change the tones. About the point of view, no, I is just a lower point of view using a small tripod (and long exposure a bit), the river is really tiny, the water is not deeper than 1 feet and these waterfalls are....15cm! :-D hope we have bigger rivers and waterfalls in Crete but...not soooo big island (middle Medditeranian, south Greece) Again thanks a lot for your worderfull words!

thanks dear Dave for yuor kind comment...hehehe...I bet you can find more waterfalls than me, on my island there are not many rivers and surely these are NOT BIG...ofcourse that means there are not waterfalls...that you see here is about 15cm high and the water at that period is not deeper than 30cm....anyway one feet...

Thanks a lot Subhrajit for your kind comment, well at that place I don't think there can be a snake, even we have a type of snake that is dangerus, the most of the snakes are not poisent and surely we don't have watersnakes. Noooo....low camera, the water wasn't deeper than one feet......tiny river! :-D

(you deserve sucn an exlellent rating)Well, it is wonderful, it is like a fairy story, usually these images , wonderful as they might be, the lack depth and the colors become monotonous, but NOT here, there is something magical.Yes, magic in the air.Did you swim there too?:)

I like your idea of using the blue tint here John. The place looks really haunted...! Cold feeling is definitely there due to the blue...and I like the low angle...as if I am seeing it from the point of view of a snake! :) But was is low or you were into the water to take this shot?

I really love your perspective here, John. Those leaves on thew ground sure do make it appear "haunted".
I was finally able to get some "waterfall" shots this week... you'll probably see some soon.
Best wishes, Dave

You have achieved a spooky effect. However, it is not a scary mood. It makes me think more of a happy dream. It is a eye catching and very pretty image. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments on my pictures. MAry

Hi John,
Excellent shot. Lovely composition, and a great POV. The blueish tint that you have added is not really my style, but it definitely gives the desired effect. Well Done!!
