Laurie's a mad rugby fan, never misses an All Blacks game. Ever. So, with the 2007 Rugby World Cup being held in Paris, we had to wake up at 3.00am to watch the All Blacks play Scotland!
Boy, it looks like a rough game. I had no idea what all those men were meant to be doing. Just looks like they all jump on the poor fellow who's got the ball, leaving him crushed under a pile of really really big men!
It was a lot of fun to watch though, and the All Blacks beat Scotland 40 - 0. YAY!!!
The rest of the day we spent catching up on some more sleep and it wasn't very nice outside with rain and even some hail! We stayed cozy warm inside, watching some dvds and being tortured by the smell of Rina's roast being slow cooked all day long....
* Um, I honestly tried to take a decent shot of the roast, but after a couple of clicks, I couldn't stand it any longer and HAD to eat. Apologies for the half-arsed effort on that one :P
Woooo Hoooo Gene! Sports on the tv . . . DvDs . . . obviously Awesome cooking . . . What a life Mate! Bad weather feels like no problem at all when spent with wonderful company!! Marny and I may knock on that door some rainy day! I make a mean roast rack of lamb with madeira sauce . . . we might could trade recipes!! :)
