The color combination is terrific, Andre! Each hue simply matches its neighbors. Under this great light the typical colors of Halloween seem only one step away.
The composition has many things of hindrance - many "half" things that work against tightness, or stand on the way. Those plants at the foreground, the left sind that includes the many unneeded things...
Of course I can imagine that getting the whole scene as photogenic as theoretically possible is most of the time simply not possible, and so we can only do the best and remain with those wishes, a bit less of this, a bit more of that. (Or perhaps ask the people in the house if they could quickly change the whole architecture for a shot! ;-))
I tried some crops and the attached one is the best I am able to come up with, before demanding the people of the house to change the architecture for strict photogenity. ;-) What do you think?
