Thanks, Kerry. The light was reasonable, late afternoon, diffuse, overcast. However, even under exposing by two stops or more, the white feathers would blow out. They are amazingly reflective! I am not sure how one can get this shot straight out with digital. Usually I resort to HDR but such is not possible with a moving subject. Eb
