Thanks, Pat! The bloom is quite small, so I would estimate that magnification is more than 1/2x. In any case, not much depth of field! The 200mm macro seems to do well at small apertures - surprisingly!

Eb - Fantastic sharpness and details. Isn't it amazing that on that lens f16 still has a shallow DOF at the distance you must have shot from.

Thanks, Joggie! Actually your observation is valid criticism. The background was a bland grey which I enhanced with a green fill. I neglected to correct for the blue-green colour cast on the subject as a result of the background colour change. Good point!

Hi Eb, lovely image of this small flower. Beautiful saturated colours. One thing (not serious - just curious), may be my screen but there seems to be a bluish tint on the fine hairs that is more noticable in the background. It may also be a result of processing. Regards.
