Laurie, This guy is a wonderful buddy, and he hangs with some mules and a donkey. I will be sharing them in the future. Like your Utah shots, it is awe inspiring there, isn't it? Be well, Stan

Stunning. Looks like a Bev Doolittle horse from one of her paintings. Always love to come across a beautiful equine with shimmering eyes and wild spirit.

Goodness, he is gorgeous... I can tell he has a fondness for you. Beautiful portrait with excellent DOF and focus right where it should be! The out of focus hills with snow patches really add tot he image.. goes well with the coloration and "wild" look of the horse! Outstanding! 7/7

Thanks Debra, Jen had it right. There is a nice variety of Appaloosas in south western Montana. My grandfather had two back in the fifties when I would spend the summers with him. Learned to love them at an early age. Oh Canada, Be well, Stan

Kudus, as in a complement. I call the horse Frank after Sinatra. He is a magnificent animal and we have gotten along for a few years. When he sees me in the yard he comes to the nearest fence and lets me know that he is available for scratches or treats. Stan.
