Hi Dave,
An excellent image of this First Nation's elder. My oldest son has sent me several images from Pow-wows and Sweat-Lodge Ceremonies that he has had the privelege to attend. He is currently doing his thesis on relations between whites and aboriginals in North America. He is in Fort Frances doing research. So, I get to see a lot of images similar to this one.

Amazing... when we 'speak' about indian's traditional clothing we have one of the most unique styles in the world... I have seen here indians too, yeap, in my place, there was a couple of people that saling there CDs and dancing - singing songs...of course there clothes are like that one, very impressive, great colours too my friend... I bet he is the....chif's chif! :-D (about the...millions of feathers on him...)

The colors and numerous details on the clothes of the "Indian" are indeed an eye catcher, Dave! A pity that he had his glasses on as the face could add much interest here. The exposure was very well balanced except perhaps for some overblowing of the low wall behind him. But in order to get those vivid colors and details of the outfit, it had to be that way.

I love the colors in the costume. And something a man walking down the street in full Indian dancing costume, with feathers on his head, yet wearing cool, groovy sunglasses.... just makes me giggle a little. :) Great picture Dave!
